With nearly half of all recyclables lost to landfill, consumer behavior change is critical to achieving recycling rate targets in Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) states like California and elsewhere. In this session, The Recycling Partnership will share eye-opening data on infrastructure, education, and behavior gaps in current EPR states and what it will take to achieve recyclable packaging and recycling rate goals by 2032 and beyond.
